I think in 10 years we’re all going to be at a bar recounting
funny technologies like FCOE…and for those of us that have been through this
before… I predict that FCOE will be lumped into the same category
as Token Ring.
Yet another overly complex technology that will not be
very multi-vendor compatible that was more expensive than competing
technologies and didn’t have a well defined path to higher performance.
